flip front mini

after a small amount of searching iv had no luck, who was it that posted up pics of the flip front mini they had made? im having ideas wheres the adds for free

There are a couple of pics here the rest have disapeared..might have been photobucket or something. I think i've seen some more recent ones of a green mini somewhere.

Oz1275 did the supercharged one with the flip front. His pics have vanished but all being well he's sending them to me on cd so I can upload them back into his thread.

what model of mini is that, you lot are bound to know vtec engines are wild dear though hmm what else would fit

I'm pretty sure that's a Riley Elf.

Other engines that can fit include the Rover K series and Vauxhall XE Red top. Both will require work to the baulkhead as well as other bits and I think I'm right in saying a slightly lengthen front end to allow the physically bigger engine to fit. Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet Simon, both models used the same body, it's basically a mini with a boot on the back. Sweet little cars.

Check out Z-cars site www.zcars.org.uk they do kits for minis also for rear wheel drive more fun the Hyabusa sounds nice.

i would imagine a large amount of the princesses have long been scrapped

I've seen a few of bike engined minis including a couple at Brands Hatch - they looked very handy if a little drafty with no rear windows...
