Flatting back primer question.

Evening gents

Might be nothing to worry about but when flatting HB primer back (celly), I went through it in some places and exposed the contrasting zinc paint underneath - must be a bit thin in some areas.
Will this be ok or would you blow some more primer over these areas?

I tried to spray primer with 1.4 nozzle so as to keep atomisation small enough so as not to need much flatting back. I seemed to struggle a little as the 1:1 mix didnt seem to want to come out the gun.
If I thinned out say 60% thinners would this help?

yes you can add more thinner to help the paint flow better
if it is high build primer then a 1.4 nozzle may be a little small at the correct paint to thinner ration
