Very useful when my new bin-liner got a hole; it patched the hole and spread the load across a wide area, so the next bit of rubbish didn't go straight through.
Unfortunately it's a once-only fix, but it saved me getting a new bin-liner out, so I'm a happy bunny

Keep it for when your helmet batteries go flat and you just need to do a small weld
Let someone use it who wants to watch whilst you weld

Well depending on where you are in the UK, for a Solar Eclipse either 2090 or 2131 for larger coverage 2151, according to Google.

This. I had to do that when my first auto helmet died. I found I coped well with the hardship, just like being back in the 80s, when that's all I had.

Surprising what I can remember from primary school 65 years ago, can’t recall what I had for breakfast though.
Do these auto helmets have replaceable batterys, I have had my auto helmet for over 20 years and never had a problem with it, still works great.
