I was just thinking (dangerous I know) why do we have flashback arrestors on the oxygen regulator when it's a non-flammable gas?
if the acetylene mixes with the oxygen in the pipes u can get a burnback hence it can only go as far back as the arestorsI was just thinking (dangerous I know) why do we have flashback arrestors on the oxygen regulator when it's a non-flammable gas?
its only happened to me once. one way checkvalves are fitted in the lines but that doesnt guarantee it
when they are reset and u turn the torch back on a lot of soot flows out of the nozzle
