The mounting on the mower couldnt be simpler and the spacing is pretty close as is so I cant see there being much problem fitting the honda. The villiers has either a kick start or a knotted string to start it, and its a pretty random affair to time it up, captive nut on the flywheel and no woodruff key or even timing marks, and to be honest I got sick of it kicking back and barking my shin.Picture on original post won't show on my browser but Villiers used an unusual hole spacing and centre height for engine mountings. Honda copied Briggs & Stratton as did most others so altering a machine from Villiers is not straightforwards. Usually far easier to get the Villiers going.
