Could be a harrison
I don't think it's a Harrison one. I've got a fixed one for the m300 which is different. I dont think it's off a Colchester lathe unless it's off an old Colchester I haven't seen. I wondered if it might be a Boxford one but dont think it's that either. I'll hang onto it, hopefully of use to some one.

Its been lying under my bench since we moved house so 8 yrs. I'd forgot I had it still. It's needing a clean up but you are welcome to have it.

See above, from NDIY. The base has been modified to fit a different machine. Compare the one here to the picture on the Denford forum. On this one, the vee is outboard of the body. It might fit the lathe bed, but it would put an awful bend in the stock.

Interesting what they have done. Looking at the standard article from NDIY, I am sure the bed is wider than that, and the vee would put it off centre. Not at the workshop ATM to look.
Yes I will take it if thats OK, but I live in Kent, so its not practical to pop round and collect it. If you would post it that will be great, but if not its not a problem. Its not at all urgent, but let me know how much it is and I will do a bank transfer or send a cheque.

Please look at the Denford forum link. That has the original factory drawing of the steady and shows it in place on the bed.
