Just purchased a new tig machine and water cooler with foot pedal from R-Tech (tig201) - Just to say...what great service so far (I ordered it at 14:55 on Thursday and it was at my door by 11:00 am the next day!)
I have never touched a tig welder before so I am really in deep!
My only welding experience is MIG welding and to be fair I could do with some lessons!
I've got some scrap ali and some steel to practice on. Was thinking about starting with the steel as it seems to be more forgiving from what I've read/watched.
Can anyone give me a few tips on how to set the welder up to start with
I'll go and have a fiddle with it anyway. Like I said I'll probably start off with some 2-4mm steel.
Thanks in advance
If your really lucky I'll post up some embarrassing photos later
