Yes outside corner is the first joint on the tig program. That wasn't my most consistent weld just the one I decided to keep. Definitely some way to go before it's perfect. Tig is an art and can't be rushed

I found the best way to get the feel of feeding the filler wire is to practice whilst not welding. Just sit down with a length of wire and feed it back and forth with your fingers and it almost becomes second nature

I think at this stage feeding wire through your fingers is throwing another complication into the mix. Draw the length you need and just run it down till you've perfected the basics of the GTAW technique. Arc length control and filling intervals, torch angle etc are number 1 priority. Get that sorted then worry about finger feeding technique.
