First things to weld.

Just after ideas as to something small thats a good little first time make.

Going to make a maintainence stand for my moutain bike... but is nothing exciting and will get used here and there.

Got no need for a wood burning stove or anything large, not really got the house or garden space.

Anything useful, different or skillful would be good.

My welder is small and has a carry handle so no cart needed.

My bike needs a few mods but nothing like that... would be fun to do though, and scrap bikes are easily obtainable.

I would ride it the shops too just to see peoples reaction but thats were it would end no downhill at LLandegla thats scary enough on a full suspension.

So we've narrowed it down to a bike of some kind then.

Thinking a kids tandem bike side by side but with the one wheel at front, and the steering would be identical.

Kind of like the crazy idea of having them side by side one wheel at front... dont know how the steering would work... and me inbetween up higher doing the pedaling and brakes.

Would take some working out wich would test my patients probably.


That is mad... but if comfortable riding it and confident then downhill wouldnt be a problem i guess.

A much better stand than what i had in mind... hope you dont mind if i make the one the same.
