Kram is definitely right about welding with stainless rods.
Don’t lower your mask to see why it hasn’t peeled off as expected too soon or you could end up with a ping of hot slag burnt into your eye…… No need to ask me how I know but I thank goodness for the expertise of an eye consultant at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.
