first mig welder

this is new to me so forgive my inexperience. i am looking for a mig welder to repair my 27 year old landy. it will need to be able to weld the chassis as well as the thinner door frame sections. i'm considering the gys smart mig 162 or a par weld mig 180 that is being recomended bya local supplier. could anyone shed any light on either

this is true but as it getting older the tool kit also lives under the drivers seat and behind the rear seats along with the mastic gun and boxes of mastic to try (in vain) to stop the rain coming in.

The gys seems quite well thought of by a few people who have one on here.

Not read much about the parweld unit, so it would be more of an unknown...

A couple of the members have the GYS and rate it highly, have seen one close up (but not used) and was impressed with the visible build quality.
