First go with the welder

    First go with the welder just to check it was working just on 4mm plate. Mig flux wire 0.8 definitely need some spatter spray. How does it look?

    Thats a mighty good start ,,, my first welds were no where near as tidy. Well done.

    One cal spray cooking oil or the likes does as an anti spatter , and its dirt cheap too. Standard cooking oil on a rag works just fine as well ,, can get a tad aromatic though.

    Good grief , Ive just quoted myself , it was meant to be an edit ,,, ah well , close enough Im sure no one will notice this and ill get away with it ,,,, Ill just count the likes as votes on what an ''a*se'' I can be :whistle:
