Thought I had updated this but obviously not, they did come back and agreed on 4 fish and the background of seaweed etc...

So £140 in all and to be done by the end of October.

Bit behind schedule on this due to night school, chest infection and torn spinal muscles !!

But here it is nearly finished, just deciding if I am going to flame colour the copper fish before clear coating.

Been reading about how much clear coating 'dulls' the copper patina though....

He's a great guy, chatted with him when I made the bicycles and bubble wands.

The fish was was an amalgamation of some of the techniques he taught me and some trial and error in making the fish !

Look good with a strip of LEDS to back light it.Your customer is going to be made up.

They were happy with it, I expected them to be more enthusiastic, but maybe that's just me !

Led backlight/uplight is a good idea though !

I've got a 6ft payara ( vampire fish ) that I made backlit with blue leds ,looks great at night.

I fancy having a go at an angler fish maybe.

Need to concentrate on smaller items at the mo though for Christmas fairs etc..

If you decide to try it, think about how your gonna mount/attach the leds to the sculpture first ,saves alot of hard work at the end,in my case with the payara drilling a lot of holes ,lol
