Hi, just thought I'd better say hi. I am in Addlestone, Surrey, and I'm trying to remember how to weld..
I recently bought a 185amp Sealey mig welder from ebay. Not as dangerous as it sounds. It's brand new factory return (small dent somewhere-I can't find it..) with euro torch. Bought a 10L bottle of argoshield light-alike, outright, so no rent to worry about (that whole thing about gas bottle rental seems absurd to me) and, with the rest of my toys, good to go.
Will be making gates and stuff for family and friends in the school holidays to supplement my meagre income. Been out of the game for a while and the cost of steel has come as a big shock.
Looking forward to losing hours of my life slowly typing questions into this forum. Oh happy days..
