Best mate had two of them. We went all over the place in them. Technically, one is still on the road, as he built a trailer out of the remains.

I drove one on BT in the early 80’s, they used to modify the accelerator linkage so you couldn’t hammer them, also it was extra basic spec with no sound proofing in. it used corner like a sports car, but go like a tortoise. It was changed for an Ital van, that was the other way round, went like a sports car & handled like a tortoise!
