Hello,
I thought I would make a video, unfortunately the volume is a little low and I was trying to be quiet to avoid disturbing people further. The welder is a Reboot from amazon for £28. The mask is a cheap model with a 10 lens and cost £10. The rods are 6013, 1.6, 2 and 2.5mm. The mild steel is 3mm I think with 1mm thick slots cut in with the intention of filling them. I am not sure if I got the right idea with filling cracks like that? I did attempt a continuous bead with a 2.5mm rod set at about 45 amps. I seemed to have most success with 1.6mm and 25 amps. That is the reading the machine is giving. I am not sure what the Arc Force control means? The manual is basic, very basic and I believe an interpretation from Chinese.
