I didn't know where to stick this. I've been thinking about easy to use fillers, sandpaper and sanding blocks, and what people recommend to buy/use.

Any advice on decent stuff to use? What grade papers do you use?

Sorry, my bad.

I'm working on a classic car. I watched a video about all these different types of fillers and puttys, and it really confused the hell out of me!

There will be some heavy filling in the rear quarters, as previous repairs have left them slightly warped inwards around the arch line.

About a 1000% better lol, the Upol big easy is a cheap filler aimed at the boys giving transits a quick flash over, sinks and rings badly and pinholes badly too. In my opinion of course

yeah big easy is suited to cheap jobs , like £500 vans etc , not the best if you want quality

Grits depend on what your sanding ???

Brands, any of the well known ones really, I like Mirka gold, but 3M etc etc

grade really depends on exactly what you are flatting to add what coat next. Bodywork can typically start at 80g and end up at 3000g. Pads??

I'll epoxy the areas I'm about to fill, as I heard there's a time frame to put anything over the epoxy. Something like 5 days before it fully cures or something like that. This was a video on YouTube I saw. Is this true?

I'm working on my BMW 2002 from bare metal. There's some contours and swage lines that could be tricky to shape and sand. I did see some contoured sanding blocks. Are these worth bothering with, or best to just use the flat ones?

And once I've finished an area, is there a coating I can put over the filler to stop it drawing moisture? I'd rather it not be the epoxy as I'll be rolling that on. Something in an aerosol would be ideal

If you want to trust info gleaned from the web go ahead, but you let the epoxy cure before filling over it, key with 120-150 for filler, epoxy is the only thing that will seal it

You can buy epoxy in an aerosol can.
