hi guys ,
right I'm really getting confused to what im doing with a couple of panels .
I stripped the paint off my boot lid
i then welded the nessesary
Right after this stage i think I went all to sh** . I started to fill the panel and sand smooth. And today when i went out the panel was obviously dusted with rust after being exposed . I then sanded the panel again and gave it a coat of primer to find my smoothness wasnt so smooth. so I need to start again .
I hate filler .
Would I have been better to prime the panel first then fill the parts required ?
then another coat of primer ?
and repeat the process untill its smooth ?
I need advice here or im gonna end up flinging the thing in the bucket .
Iv already used a sh** load of primer and filler and its all been a waste and hasnt got me anywhere.
I just cant get the hang of this. And the more i'm at it the more £'s its costing
