I made one of those once to cover a gas mask.
How appropriate for these times. Bet I could rock one now and It would me Covid trendy.

In the hole goes something but a slug behind, will join them together after a layer of brass sandwiched.

Once I leveled off the lava the brass will be sandwiched.
Don't worry the size it will go on the same diet.

The brass will be down to about a 2mm border around the final shape.
I have to figure a wire carrier.

I told the style council it was to shave weight.

A mate drilled a hole down a 3/4" bolt to use as a drill guide.

Grind what I could and filed down.

I be happy with the shape now it just needs a bit more dieting.

I hacked out the brass so it can be plugged welded through.

I was going to lay a cog in there but I'm feeling a pair of artificial eyes would be good too.
