I was given some alloy ones by a well known tyre company, as you say, seized on & had a hell of a job to get them off. These were fitted on the air spring assisters on my campervan, so somehow they has to come off.
Our tyre fitting place said the same, but there's no point trying to explain it to her
To give you a better chance of getting them off put some anti seize grease on them.

A better chance was in the bin, went back to plastic. When in for a mot, I asked the guy,” you change the valves when fitting tyres don’t you, any chance of some of the caps that came off? I got a handful given me. You don’t see the brass plain or valve key ones often now, but they are good if you see them.

Is this a 4x4 Panda or just a similarly styled version?
My wife has a Fiat 500 and loves it. I think its a horrible little car and can't understand the appeal, apart from the retro styling. Horrible to drive and poor seating / steering wheel position for tall drivers.
The 1.2 Fire is a tough well proven unit although not particularly frugal, only does about 43mpg which is pretty poor for a supermini / city car.

i had to cut my mates off, used a dremmel to partly slit them open then a screwdriver to open

Gave friend hand doing clutch on his panda little while ago, something i noticed and have seen on other modern cars. there is no spigot bearing in the end of the crank, that seems to make the input bearing wear out lot quicker.
But apparently this is only on cheaper models.
common on some Peugeot's too!

A spigot bearing would overconstrain FWD gearbox input shafts, I don't think I have ever seen a FWD gearbox with a spigot bearing or a RWD gearbox without one, I've only worked on "normal" stuff though.
Most important accessory fitted first, so pup can be transported safely

In my boot, I've got the carpet, the spare wheel, the jack and wheelbrace. Never needed more in the last 150,000.

This one is just front wheel drive, they did have the 4x4 version, but it was a diesel which she didn't want, plus she can use my 4x4 if needed, which was only a couple of times last winter.

You don't own a horse then
give it a few weeks and the boot will be full of "horsey" stuff, plus the rear footwells and the back seat
