FH brundle pipe dimensions

Looking on brundles site for some pipe and they have some 42.4x3mm wall CHS, but i need to know if the 42.4mm is the ID or OD...

anyone know which it is?

Apologies for stating the obvious , but can't you ring them and ask?

just spoken to them, the measurement is the od so its not suitable for what i need. if it was the ID it would have been perfect...

looks like the next size up will do though so will get that instead

The usual designation is pipe goes by the bore size and tube is sized by the O/D.

Yeah they said that when I spoke to them

I need a loose fit for 41mm so have ordered some 48.3 with a 3mm wall, should give 42mm bore which will be perfect.
