FH Brundle delivery times

Anyone know the average wait for delivery from FH Bundle?

i ordered tuesday afternoon, have had a confirmation but it mentions nothing about expected delivery and its going to be too heavy for the Mrs to carry through the house if im not here

Surely their cart / payment gateway must be SSL secured? They'd get hammered over PCI non-compliance if it wasn't.

I ordered some stuff last Thursday via the website and it was delivered first thing Monday morning.

Most ecomm sites now only encrypt their checkout pages with SSL. If the entire site was served up via HTTPS the extra processing power to encrypt every page would inevitably slow the site down

Around hear normally next day with a early morning delivery, but all depends what you have on order sometimes comes as a split delivery. Just remember if its box it will be BLACK and everything you then touch will be Black as well.

got 3 lengths of angle a sheet of 1.5mm and a sheet of expanded mild too...i hope it all arrives at once, i need to get most of it built asap

its only some shelves for a storage cupboard and the legs and hinges for a BBQ...still, nice to be making something

The payment part might have been, but I didn't go past the customer details/sign up page as that wasn't and i'm sure as hell not putting my password in to a non https site. I'm a software engineer by trade and build online stores and large web apps for multinational companies on a daily basis, makes you extra aware of these things. See attached...

hmmmm....you do realise that even though you refused to use the online form, and then ordered over the phone because its safer, once you gave them your details they probably put it onto exactly the same database anyway...

That's quite possible, but I would hope their internal infrastructure was secured and not passing unencrypted personal information over the internet.

The few times I have ordered, never had an issue.
I tend to ring and order. I do very very little on the net.
Ordered on Monday morning, must times had the parts by Wednesday.
The one issue I had, they had sent out the wrong size part. I contacted them straight away, Friday I had the correct parts and was allowed to keep the wrong parts.

Never had an issue.

They have a habit of having different stock items spread around their branches and it can take a few days for them to gather all of your order together at one branch.
Their website if ordering online will let you order stuff that can sometimes be out of stock with no indication given of when you can expect it to arrive.
