Ferrous Transformer

Morning all,

A friend of my dad passed away not long ago and left him all his tools and equipment from his shed and garage, and this was tucked away under the bench. Does anyone know anything about them as google searches have not come up with much to go off!

My dad isn't looking at selling as it would be disrespectful but me being a welder it is more out of interest on my behalf as my dad says I may as we'll have it in my workshop (not that I'd use it, I'd more than likely keep it in the office so it doesn't get damaged).

Can you not use that with a carbon arc torch for brazing? I'm sure I had one at some point!

Dear Mr F.J.,

Further to your post on the Ferrous transformer, you will be hearing from my Injury Specialist Claims Lawyer who rang me up and said I'd recently suffered a claimable compensatory injury. When I realised it was my neck injury due to your post I instructed them to proceed with the claim. I hope you will pay the £4million and not make a fuss as I am stressed by having to write this on a custom made vertical keyboard and if I have to do it much longer there will also be a further claim for wrist damage. In fact why don't you add a further £5million and we'll settle without any further hassle.

Yes I used to have one years ago,it's a fixed output welding or with the attatchment brazing transformer,air cooled, go on forever but only at the rated output I think mine was 60 or 90 amps [one or the other not both] it went the journy when I got a pickhill bantam.
