Yes some gas tankers use their cargo as juice.Dont they have a ship that refuels with Gas? A mobile petrol station.....I thought I read it somewhere
That said, you don't move to an island, stay there by choice, and complain about the ferries.
Just come back to this thread, got fed up with page 1. Anyway, there seems to be some confusion about the fuel LPG or LNG, and what is the advantage that warrants an extra build cost of £100 million pounds? Assuming it is LNG, is it that much cheaper, once the cost of liquifying it and keeping it liquid, are taken into consideration?
