Fencing up hill.

Hi All,

My local club is building a new club house but I have a problem with the fencing that will go along the disabled access ramp. How do you get metal bow top to go uphill? Is there a better way than making all the holes in the support strip oval?

Slice the bottom off and let if follow the contour line of the ramp, so you keep the top running line of the fence intact.

If you are taking several panels up hill then step them up a few inches each panel run , just do it sympathetically ...

If the Job looks a good'en , it usually is easy to get away with " adjustments "

Cut the bows off at an angle and weld them to the top strip then put the risers in between the top and bottom strip. Oval the holes sounds like the best way to do it though unless you have a pillar drill with an angled table to drill the holes.

Keep the panels straight and square, but step them as you go along.
Shouldnt need to be very big steps if its a disabled ramp, i gather its not that steep.?
