god its garbage I have genuine creosote and a cupful of waste engine oil in it lasts donkeys years .I still have 3x3 posts that have been in 35years and still strong .only ever coated them 4 times water basted crap goes dry and so does the wood leaving no goodness in it

zero probs
he may help save the planet and feel better but not doing the fence any favours and have to renew it in less than half the time mine will last . farmers still use it as it stops rot and kills bugs and woodworm

This has not been mentioned - dip them. Two big troughs (@spencer 427 sized), one to dip, other to dry, . Dip and rotate for all sides, let the excess drip off, repeat. Do it out of the sun on a cool day, add extra water to thin the paint.
My fence was much smaller scale, but we built up some picket panels, I dipped the peices before assembly in the paint bucket, It works. It will use more paint, but it will get into all the crevices and save a lot of time. The last panels will need to be mostly brushed /sprayed as the paint level drops.
Shortly after we did our back fence, neighbours copied us, paid someone to bodge their front fence, same colour as ours, it was done very quick but a poor job. We have been waiting ages for then to chop a tree to do the front, anyway they finally did, so we got the front done.
Week after they painted their panels blue! They havent touched their side of our panels (would have annoyed me).

when I 1st built the fence I made a bath up from long scaffold planks lined with polythene and chucked 15 gallons of creosote in then shot a dozen 7 foot by 6 inch panels in for 15 minutes then took out and left to dry. the posts got chucked in buckets and left for a week to soak the bottoms in 
the daughters 6x6 lap; panels got layed on a big sheet of polythene on the floor and painted the creosote on with a soft hand brush its pointless fitting them then coating as round the edges wont get coated

That's how I got it, aunt used to keep chickens and treated the coops with it, it's the only way to stop woodmites or something iirc. Not sure exactly how she got it, a dozen chickens hardly qualifies you as a farmer but Mr Fox ate them and it's mine now.
Thats what I used...the paint that is....it works well but needs 2 coats.....the sprayer is crap which is why I went and bought the Wagner Electric one

If it is water based i slightly thin it down and use a HVLP spray gun to blast it close up into the awkward bits then use a brush to level it out and finish with a coat over it all, It saves so much effort.

I am a car mechanic - I have even thinned down waste oil with waste diesel and then added a small amount of creosote to keep the "boring insects out of the wood".
Application using 5" 6" brush...

spraying any fence is bad news that isn't solid .the overspray goes strait through the gaps on to your neighbours garden

That is the exact same stuff I used, thought it was a bit of a bargain as branded, really odd consistency like thin cream cheese and its a sod to get it into the wood grain, posts on getting that stuff through an LP hand pump... good luck with that! Also one coat my arris. Friendly with any firemen who could run through a you know what?

100 meters is about 50 x 6' panels. Even spraying would take too long, and your going to need more paint, we used several tubs for 25 meters brushed on , two new tubs and 3 half full old ones.
Use a big sheet as @brightspark said, lay each panel flat, pour it over and bathe each panel in it.
