What do you think this is worth in this mess it is only 7 months old but as you can see I’ve dropped it and I’ve made a poor attempt to fix it,

Might we worth stripping and getting a quote for the parts. May prove to be a cat c write off though looking at it and it being a Fein.

Still works great just rubbish at the ally welding plus its a mig ally machine

I'd strip it and take the broken parts to a decent ally welder.

Stick it on EBay, cosmetic damage, surprising what you’ll get for it, throw a few blunt cutters in to make it more inviting, all sold as seen of course and not to anyone on this forum...

I would take the plate off and weld it properly ! It will still give years of service without much bother and with decent accuracy ! I repair stuff like that almost every day...

Aye, but we [generally] hate on here seeing tools with a fairly easily repairable defect being released into the wild.
