feeling sorry so i bought this Ebay bargain

Went in for my first operation yesterday so now laid up for a week or so, but the nigh before i came across this fish tank, been wanting one to fit in the kitchen dinner as grow out tank, i was going to buy one made but a bit expensive these tanks at around £500, and i couldnt believe it when i found this one on the place i love to hate, but now hate to love lol
I comes with a decent light kit aswell as stand, but the stand will be scrapped and i will be making a new steel section one and clad it over for a couple of canister filters, thats when i am up and about a bit better, it will have to sit in the garden now filling itself with rain water.

That's an amazing price for such a nice tank, is there any reason why it's so cheap, like chips or scratches?
Are you getting marine or tropical fishies?

Hi Maker, only thing i can think of is that it wont go through a standard door ( 38x30x30) so that will put a lot off, i ha to take the front room window out for the seller, hi son couldnt do it, an i will need to remove a con`y window to get it in the kitchen through the french doors. It has one small chip in the rear lower corner but not for me to worry about, it ha snot long been emptied either. I wouls fillit in the garden and leave to see how it actually is but i cant pick it up it now.
I am going to get tropical for this as a grow out tank, First will be a Silver Aro and some Peacock Bass aswell and some Plec`s when i decide which to get, sialfin first cheap and i love them, golden nugget and royal maybe, it was between the plecs and rays again, rays are good but i want a change.

As long as your spending spree stops with a tank that cannot get in or out of houses without removing doors and windows.

Round our way you can't give away secondhand fish tank stuff.Couple of years back I had to cut up and bin a four foot by eighteen inch tank as no wanted it.
