Hi all,
I have been lurking for the past few months and I have found the forum to be interesting and informative. I have just bitten the bullet and upgraded my Clarke 165 to a SIP IC300WS (single phase). While the Clark ran happily on a 16amp supply this new one will not. I should have checked before I brought it that a 32amp supply would suffice but according to the manual it wants 50amp. Is this right, it seems a bit excessive to me. I dont want to install a 32amp supply and have to redo it again with bigger wire and vastly more expensive sockets and plugs.
Hopefully someone know the answer as SIP are sticking to their 50amp recommendation.
TIA
