feed problems...

I have Recently aquired a second hand welder that isn't playing ball!

I knew that there was a problem with the wire feed...basically it doesn't!

I've had a look and all connections are fine, and when I press the trigger its trying to do something but there is no movement from the motor that powers the roller.

Any help much appreciated

Did you figure out the problem then? Powewr switches not quite in position maybe?

not sure yet...sure the switches were ok, it makes a clicking sound when i press the trigger.

i'm going to check the switches and relay first. not sure from then

Could be a dirty contact in the relay or maybe faulty wiring from the circuit board to the motor - how old is the welder and what type? Does the wire feed if you unclamap the roller tensioner?

not sure of the exact age but its definetely 4+ years, but with little use(although its not in the best condition).

i think its a migmate 130 turbo ? something along those lines anyway.

When i first tried it it worked, but now its dead even with no tension?
