Sky and Virgin seem to be as bad as each other.
Ive always contemplated the freeview route and standalone broadband but havent had the courage to cut the ties. But Netflix and Prime Video make it much more of a realistic option.

Sky were seeing people running away from their platform toward Netflix and Amazon Prime so bought Now on the basis that if they were to lose a customer, better to lose them to another business that you ownWent for nowTV for the full package, phone, Internet and sky pass and got a deal at half the price of sky.
p.s. friends of ours own a number of bars, and realised that their clientele (mid 20s to mid 30s) would pretty much only stay for a few hours. Same situation years ago overseas in the early days of pay as you go cell phones. Trackphone owned a company called Net 10, where you got a phone for free and they sold top-up minutes for less than half of the Trackphone price.………………………………... if they were to lose a customer, better to lose them to another business that you own
virgin cant be beaten on high speed net so thats the way i went years ago and still use them
and yes i get the deals as well
got lowest tv package in deal with phone but net im more interested within
unless its through there own cable network id be careful though if through bt wires then expect lower speeds
and its the same with the rest of them using bt wires
