Easy Tartiflette.
Par boiled sliced potatoes, bits of bacon, you can't have enough, onion, fine chopped.
Cook bacon and onions, layer potatoes, bacon and onions , like a lasagne, pour thick cream in, reblochon, a whole one on the top.
Cook in oven till golden brown, Eat. Eat it all, never reheats the same.

MONDAY:
Today I made angel food cake. The recipe said beat 12 eggs separately. The neighbors were nice enough to loan me some extra bowls.
TUESDAY:
Fruit salad for supper. The recipe said serve without dressing. So I didn't dress. What a surprise when my friends came over for supper.
WEDNESDAY:
A good day for rice. The recipe said wash thoroughly before steaming the rice. It seemed kinda of silly but I took a bath. I can't say it improved the rice any.
THURSDAY:
New salad recipe: prepare ingredients, then toss on a bed of lettuce one hour before serving. This led to the neighbors wondering whey why I was rolling around in the garden.
FRIDAY:
I found an easy recipe for cookies. It said put all ingredients in bowl and beat it. There must have been something wrong with this recipe. When
I got back, everything was the same as when I left.
This has been a very exciting week. I am eager for tomorrow to come so I can try out another new recipe on. If we could just get a bigger oven, I would like to do a Chocolate Moose.

So after chatting with @mtt.tr i was introduced to the world of sourdough starter
Well after a week I now have my own starter.
So last night I made a dough for lebanese flat bread
This was as mixed last night
This morning it looked like this
Then portioned up
And just now, it’s like this
There is some welding involved, I welded some JCB handles onto some 6mm plate. This is my pizza stone

Just shown my wife your post mate (she bakes a lot) and may i copy your grill or griddle as that would be fantastic for cooking full English breakfasts for 4 heads at one go

Absolutely no need to ask what so ever, it’s just 6mm plate I picked up on my travels, then welded some handles I acquired from the the JCB factory.
When I get home ( I’m in Barnstaple now with the kids) I’ll post up a pic of an even better hot plate. It 10mm plate, milled flat and then had some attention with a surface grinder.
Can only use it on a nig stove as it don’t fit in the oven.
This one in the pics, set in oven, oven on full tilt to get plate glowing then cook pizza, couple of minutes and it’s done
Good sprinkle of semolina gives it a crunchy bottom, even better than dominoes
