Hi, i have just bought a sealey 210/10 which has a fault .When i press the trigger the contactor does not energise .if i force the contactor the wire will feed and i can adjust the wire speed .Gas solenoid does not operate as this appears to be fed from the coil supply for the contactor.I have tested the torch switch but dont understand how this bit works as it appears to be switching a earth.ie One end is of the switch is connected to the heat sink and the other goes to the board .(I have tested the control voltage (24vac)The output of the board must then switch 24vac.i am guessing i have a faulty board but could anyone explain why it switches an earth or is there somthing else which is causing the fault?i would just like an explanation of this before i go and buy a new board.Cheers.
Thanks in advance
