I've been salvaging parts from an Airbus. New boy who turned up to 'help' us didn't notice that Airbus use Torq-set fittings so he used Philips bits. I now have lots of screw heads to drill off.
It didn't help that the screws seem to be made of recycled Chinese Cheese.

BAE tried to fit them on their MOD kit. Until they were "nicly" asked to stop and supply "Real" fittings to the kit all ready out there.I've been salvaging parts from an Airbus. Thales used to use the odd metric threads on parts not really meant to be taken apart in the field.
M7, M9, M7 and M11.
But it meant common tools could be used in a pinch.
