Anyone else getting sick of redirects in Facebook with no way back without restarting the phone.

The video I clicked was just a guy using a brick cutter. Nothing dodgy or anything like that.

Anyone else getting sick of redirects in Facebook

I got sick of Facebook a long time ago, and found a very simple solution. A sentiment I'm sure is shared with many on here.

Do you have the FB app and FB messenger app installed on your phone? Looks like that's what is is trying to do.

It's simple to contact people on marketplace once both are installed. I only ever use it to buy tools and have got some great stuff off it.

Yes it says I was leaving the app. So I did not click continue.

I clicked back. But it does not work.
The only way out is to force a stop on Facebook or restart the phone.

It wasn't an advert it was just a video. I wanted to see how clean the bricks cut.

But I have had around a dozen videos just try and redirect.

The latest scam is the link goes to Instagram.nor a video, like you would think with the arrow in the centre.

Or are you using an Internet browser on your phone?

all i can think of is that page back is causing your phone to crash

theres nothing you can do other than stop clicking on links while using on facebook

The phone does not crash.
It's deliberate programing to force you to end up on a dodgy Web page.
How dodgy I don't want to find out.
