my old man (cabinet maker too) would have chased me out of the workshop if I left a plane sitting upright on it's sole... always on it side away from you... was never convinced that was better, but that was his way...

This popped up on Facebook this morning made 9 years ago when i was still with the cabinet maker this was a test for me, all proper joints
Never took a picture of it complete also i didn't turn the legs

This one is 10years old made with another cabinet maker, he found me my apprenticeship.
I need to refinish the top, stained in storage.
I can smell the glue pot from doing the veneering.
