Well, back in and fed the inner man. Really appreciate the help I've had here, my brain was beginning to hurt and the nasty beast 'frustration' showing signs of making an appearance.

Good quality, and so much more robust than the one I had which had a very thin screen [you could deform it with one finger] and needed separate ear defenders. Nice shield, shame about the instructions ....and my stupidity .

Well, today has become Friday's tomorrow. . I didn't realise I'd signed up for The Krypton Factor when I ordered this thing. I'm now in 'Numpty Mode' as I can't for the life of me work out how the head band bit fits into the frame!!

Got the ear defenders on OK (didn't someone advise doing them first? ) and the polycarbonate shield looks a doddle but the 'push and twist'' locating lugs that need to go into the slots in the frame don't line up. Well, they probably do but I'm ******** if I can see how. Reluctant to force any of the parts....I've played that game before.

That was me with ref to the ear defenders. You don't have to take them back off but would be easier to see what you are doing if you take them off.

Does anyone want to buy my set as a spare shield and ear defenders before I put in a return? Since I don't have the housing they are no good to me but It's the screen that's the valuable bit. Just cover the original discount cost and the postage then I don't lose out and you get a spare set of wear items for cheap. Otherwise I'll put in a return and get my £12 back.

So the grey frame was missing in your box too? Weird isn't it how that happens I wonder is it the original factory doing that or Amazon...

I'm going to email JSP UK and ask for them to send me a grey frame.

I'll let the forum know if they do respond and will send one.

I ordered 2x and one came without the frame. @£12 ill just keep the visor as spare but it should have came with the damn frame!

Yes it's missing. It must be at JSP as Amazon only put the JSP box inside an Amazon box.

Mine arrived on Tuesday (we were away over the weekend so I delayed the Amazon delivery) and have just managed to get it assembled; it is very well made indeed and an absolute bargain at £12 so thanks again to @Anaconda666 for giving us all the heads up and sharing the link.

As for the instructions, there must be a job for someone to go to China and do them in English from the outset.

Exactly what my sister's first ex-husband used to do back in the 90's - write decent English instructions for many different Chinese items.
