Yes I messed around for a while before looking at the instructions, which to be fair are pretty vague. The written part is even worse.
Anyway £12 and quite comfortable to be fair, couldn't hear a word my wife was saying .

I never (rarely) look at the intructions. I relish the challenge. Once you've seen how the front part attaches it's all obvious.

I should have ordered two, one for home and another for work! (Currently do a lot of strimming and I dont enjoy dog poo and mud in the face!)

However I am unsure yet if the clear visor can instead attach to my jsp evo hard hat, it doesnt have the same attachement as used by my mesh chainsaw mask. (Slides into the ear defender clip)


I also get through a lot of safety glasses, try to keep them nice but they get scratched up. These arrived today - clear and smoke, and are as good as any other I use

You need the longer thinner clips to fit the shield into your ear defender hangers.

Had a quick look at mine, jeez I've assembled easier Ikea products than this looks. Have given up for the moment for fear of snapping something.... there's always tomorrow. (I'm blaming the trial that was NHS jabs session today.... )

Why cancel it? One of the only places you can order Sat and have it in your hands Sunday morning! I wish there was a good alternative for delivery, or even a local shop, but theres not!

Its a bit of an asre that you now have to spend £20 or pay extra for rhe fastest deliverys but I can usually manage £20.

The monthly fee averaged out has probably never been more than 50p per item for us.

I like Amazon because nothing local exists now. Ebay is too slow especially Chinese stuff.
Only good thing about ebay is you can combine postage. Whereas Prime already has postage added.
You can usually find amazon stuff cheaper if you don't want prime delivery.

And when (if) they come back they will be higher price. @Kram Used to find loads of bargains for us.
Often when amazon started charging sellers storage for slow selling items.
It was cheaper for them to shift stock cheaply.

Amazon prime box sealed. Opened it and the large grey frame form one of the masks is sadly MIA.

I wonder am I better waiting a few days to see if they come into stock again (at whatever price) and then raise it requesting a replacement? As otherwise they may just refund me and I would really like 2x of em like I ordered

I seriously doubt that will happen. What usually happens is they refund rather than replace.

Well, today has become Friday's tomorrow. . I didn't realise I'd signed up for The Krypton Factor when I ordered this thing. I'm now in 'Numpty Mode' as I can't for the life of me work out how the head band bit fits into the frame!!

Got the ear defenders on OK (didn't someone advise doing them first? ) and the polycarbonate shield looks a doddle but the 'push and twist'' locating lugs that need to go into the slots in the frame don't line up. Well, they probably do but I'm ******** if I can see how. Reluctant to force any of the parts....I've played that game before.

The ear defenders only go on LAST so take them back off.

The little spuds which go into the grey frame have to be folded back on themselves and go from inside the frame out.

Yes it's a PITA ill try to post photos of mine shortly if it helps.

The destruction manual is pathetic on this mask. Otherwise the quality is very high.

yes ear defenders last headband all 3 ends need bending back on themselves then slot into one of 6 positions on body then rotate forward to secure .

For some reason they don't want that. Don't ask me why. We offered to write all the manuals for the vinyl.cutters we were selling but they refused......so after 18 months they wanted us to make videos for them. At this stage we could see many of the dodgy things they were up to so so as we knew they wanted us out we refused......but yes it makes no sense.

Does anyone want to buy my set as a spare shield and ear defenders before I put in a return? Since I don't have the housing they are no good to me but It's the screen that's the valuable bit. Just cover the original discount cost and the postage then I don't lose out and you get a spare set of wear items for cheap. Otherwise I'll put in a return and get my £12 back.
