I would like to ask if anyone has come up with a simple way of tapering or ovalising straight pipes (cheap machines are welcome). Achieving something like this >> http://www.burnsstainless.com/Transitions/transitions.html
I will be fabricating some exhausts replacing the catalyst, where books comment on making a 10 degree taper on the inlet and 15-20 on the outlet. Taper will also greatly help in matching pipe diameters.
I think this guy here is trying to make a taper tool.

But they use heat and i think they do not work in High Srength Steels like SS304 etc
