Having just decided to launch a pick up hitch in to the scrap skip, I promptly received these..this has just been recovered to the yard!

That’s a livestock/horsebox that was purchased on a whim so they could shift sheep and pigs around. Obviously not inspected very well...and now it’s on my list, well, back of the book more like!

Yay for farmers!

Question is, do I replace the axle, 5stud landis wheels I believe, or fabricate so brackets and do both axles..

Suppose it keeps me busy though...

I had a Morris ****al like that once, the radius arm was held on to the rear axle with camping straps, it had passed an mot like that too.

The problem you'll have is welding brackets there is right where the rubber suspension will be.

I made long ish clamps that went round the axle on one I repaired, sort of a channel with feet either side for the clamping bolts to go through then a plate on top but under the frame/ chassis.

Will it be used on the road or just around the farm? If the latter, the 'world's your lobster' in terms of choice for the repair method.......

if its one of MR williams ones u wil need to remortgage , probably more than wot the trailers worth.

4no big U shaped brackets, 70mm internal width, 68mm height, 2no M12 fixing holes which I forgot to measure the spacing of.
