Longer than it would have done if the bike was moving.
how long did it take you to notice???
not before it came over the brow of the hill you wouldnt in a vehicle with radio on and the colour of his gear is 2 dark to notice him just the same as black or dark green cars they can easily be missed when u pull out at a junction or over a roundabout why do u think the army wear camouflageThat's all very well showing a bike nicely obscured by the trees in the picture but you would almost certainly hear it before you saw it. We use more than one of our five senses when driving.
every time there's an accident involving a car pulling out its a case sorry I didn't see you mate.
My bike is a large tourer. It has an HID headlamp and triangulation lamps on the forks. I have two aerials on the back, a curly cord from the helmet and I wear reflectives. People DO tend to notice me and often move over for me if I slowly approach on their right side. Wonder why? ;-)
You must be going too slowly :P I've got a bright yellow daytona and people don't see me until I'm over-taking them.
But a bright yellow Daytona is clearly a "public" type bike and doesn't register any threat. A bike like mine, configured the way it is, needs a second look to check... ;-)
