Extraction of paint mist

I've been thinking about paint mist extraction in my garage, it's a single garage and only sprayed lechler epoxy primer with an hvlp gun at present, but even that leaves a good mist in the air which I'm not that happy about letting out for my neighbours.

Before further primer and before I paint the car in cellulose (how will I do that in a single garage!?) is there any benefit in making an extraction box with a 12 or 16" atex fan with front filter venting outside with possibly carbon filters to remove the smell?

ideally you need to filter the incoming air, that will have the bits in it that would spoil a paint job, I would think a door size filter would be required for incoming air depending on the filter material, you could ask a spray booth filter supplier for a large sample for evaluation:whistle:
