Extending Hose From Regulator To MIG

Need to extend the pipe by a few feet as it isn't long enough with larger gas bottles. What's the best type of hose to use and would ordinary jubilee clips be ok.

mines about 16' its a clear reinforced pvc 'o' clips are best they have 2 ears u crimp them with end cutters & they squeeze onto the pipe.

Any suggestions on where to purchase the hose & clips from.
Is it a specific welding item etc.
I have an air line which looks the same, clear plastic. No idea on the bore though.

Wookster the air pipe you have should be ok just be carful with the extra lenght sitting on the floor that sparks/blobs of weld don't run across the floor and melt it! It will only be low pressure as it is AFTER the regulator.

you can get the clips from lwsco on e bay or a welding/compressor& air tool shop,they are calibrated to suit the o/d of the hose.I have a large roll of this pipe u can have some @ cost price ±p&p,or collect,i'm 18m from brecon ,nr hay-on-wye.

Hi Folks,

Didn't get some of the updates for some reason no idea why.
Independently I found lwsco on fleabay and ordered through them.
Hose was 1.37/2m ordered 10m so I have more options, 4mm adaptor 2.88. Ordered a couple of other bits and they combined postage. Very happy with the prices.
