The thing that got me thinking about it I the trailers I see occasionally that can take two cars. They have two axles in the middle then a third axle at the front that is part of the a frame and pivots independently from the rest of the trailer and allow it to steer.
I would like a pickup but they aren't very practical for the family, and a crewcab is expensive. Also the towing capacity isn't normally very good and I would like to use it to tow a banger racing car.
well,he states wanting to extend the 'a' frame so he can put it on there.
read?o i was wondering if it would be possible to extend the a frame so a jet ski could fit on there.
It would likely have to have an extra axle underneath to support the weight and have to be detachable so could be used as a standalone trailer to launch the ski.

For any outdoor-loving person, the capacity of a vehicle to carry or haul cargo is more important than ever. For SUV's and cars without the cargo area of a large pickup truck, the roof space is an ideal area to store cargo such as camping equipment. But to do this, there should be a cargo rack or roof rack installed. The cargo rack, also called the roof rack or luggage rack is the carrier for holding cargo on top of a car. A cargo rack is usually made of durable metal material and can carry anything, even cargo as big and as heavy as a canoe or a jet ski.
Who needs a roof rack? some small jets are only 120 -130 KG
how much is 10 sheets of plaster board ? you see at least that many regularly from DEWSONS across the road, from me.
easy peasy here u goBe the same as reversing an A frame trailer, it can be done but it is even worse to try and reverse in a straight line. How i used to reverse them is to steer the trailer like you were driving it, that way you know which way the A frame has to go.
AW!! I was going to post that clip, saw it a few months ago, what a driver EH. we used to have a driver at the truck firm I used to work at who used to go to the all the small welsh stock markets (real stock markets) with sheep and said he would much prefer his 65ft wagon and drag triple decker than an artic coz he could get into the farm yards and sales yards easier !! he had to be inch perfect so that sheep control gates would line up etc etc he would never use the front tow eye, just the rear, and that was his job day in day out with nobody as 'banksman' he used to carry hundreds of sheep in one go.easy peasy here u go
