Hi everyone, looking for some opinions here, I spray brackets using chassis black synth paint using one of those earlex hvlp spray guns, I spray in the corner of my garage and have a fume extractor which vents to outside, i have the suction nozzle bit just by where i spray so overspray goes straight out and i don't generate clouds of mist. I have a fluorescent light on the ceiling above where i spray and someone mentioned that it could all be an explosion risk. The brackets i spray are small (about 50cm long bracket) and I spray about 50 at a time, it takes about 20 mins to spray (obviously not constant spraying, i probably only use about 200ml of paint to do the whole lot). So what do you all think, am i about to blow the garage up or do you think its fine? I imagine people spray a lot more in their garages without problems??
many thanks, neil
