Yeah we use concur for work - photograph and upload receipts, much better than my previous company where we had to send hard copies in every month.
I don't know if there's a charge for using it individually though, I work for a large company and everyone uses it.

Yep, that's how it works now. I've done nearly £300 quid in my first two weeks. Mostly on train fares

I was faced with this situation once and requested (backed up by my boss) the accounts dept to transfer a cash 'buffer' to my card account to cover any late payments on their part as far as expenses reimbursement was concerned when using my own card and the credit limit being exceeded due to their delay in processing my monthly claim.
Also agreed that if they were late paying, I could recover any credit card charges from the company.
Strangely enough, my expenses payments after submitting a claim was pretty damned sharp from then on.....

I do this through choice. I have a company CC but never use it. My expenses come to over £2k a month and I want to see the benefit from that. My CC at the moment is a Tesco one and due to the amount I spend on it every month I get loads of there points which if transferred to days out vouchers the money value quadruples. Every weekend I can take the kids to some cool places and it costs me only lunch.

I used to do this in my previous company - I had an mbna points card and used to get vouchers back. As long as the company pay on time and cover costs if not it works well.

This is the least of your worries. Make sure they DONT pay you late and cause you bank charges because even if they reimburse you those charges, the potential damage to your credit rating can't be reimbursed. You are well with in your rights to tell them you are either paid the expense on time or your not spending your money.
They could seriously screw things up for you if they cause you to have charges regarding borrowing, mortgages, renting and many other financial benefits could be refused to you. Paying you the charges back doesn't come close to covering the real damage

When I worked for Sulzer, All expenses had to be pre approved by a different company division, All travel etc, but approval was causing trouble, Getting emergency callout to oil rigs etc, Couldn't travel till expenses were approved,Which could take days) So our depot engineer (A really nice swiss guy) would pay the bills on his personal card and claim it back. He got sacked because he was not following the rules, and one of the company excuses was that he was doing it to get the points on his card.
