Exhaust pipe welding

I am going to attempt to weld my exhaust on my suburban what settings should I set the wirefeed to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

as above.some information on your welder would be a good start..also.are you repairing or modifying..the main problem with exhaust pipe welding is that there very thin from factory so if its rusted the chances are it will be a nightmare to fix...

you should have some reference to settings in your machines handbook or on the machine itself-if not you could try an internet search for the handbook of your machine.
Settings are only a starting point though because your exhaust (if its a repair) will be oxidised, contaminated inside and may be brittle due to use.You may need to some quick spot welds on it to see what settings to do the job with.

300 for the wirespeed, and power wise, probably -2, really get no heat in it at all.

On a more serious note, it depends what machine you've got to be honest.
