so here are some pictures of the first manifold I ever made, a year or 2 ago now, I had not been tigging for very long and it was a learning curve, I used all mild steel to try and prevent cracking, but as you can see from the first photo.. that did not work,
it seems to have broken next to the weld, and it did it in several other places aswell, all places where the thinnest (1.5mm) wall tube was used, the 2.5" log, although not clearly shown in the picture the thinwall metal seems to have warped and peeled away after cracking, and the weld stayed where it was,
my question is, how do I fix it? my only thoughts are to use thicker walled tube in future but is there something I am missing?
