I would be interested in seeing the differences in the Job list between the 2 machines. I seem to recall the EWM has 35 jobs as well?

Comparing the front panel pictures, the only difference is the EWM offers a Spot and Stitch mode, with timers adjustable for both duration of Spot and Interval between.

Jim, not rude at all, got nothing to hide, he's charging me 1600 Euro for the machine with ewm 3m torch, earth lead, gas hose and throwing in a 5kg roll,
this is for the latest Picomig with pulse and the new graphics on front panel.

Sounds very cheap. (They are Around £1800 here inc) have you looked into import charges/taxes etc is that including shipping? True cost to your door might not be so attractive.

He'll still have to pay that on one from the UK, plus the higher initial price, so the Teamweld sounds like a no brainer to me if he's in Hong Kong.

Hi Richard, shipping cost aside, that will be cost to my door as Hong Kong is a Free Port and there are no import charges/taxes payable.
To be honest, I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost.

If he were coming back this way for any reason, he could have it shipped to the UK and then carry it back... Green lane

Jim, looking into the future, is it feasible to send the machine to you for that annual service it needs to uphold the warranty?

Or does it need to be returned to supplying dealer?

I can do it, and you'll only need to do it once as its a 2 year warranty. But you'd be better off getting it serviced locally, it doesn't have to be done by an EWM service centre, but it must be done by a competent service engineer sole to carry out the EC repetition test.
