Evolution Saw Blades

Does anyone know if the Evolution Mitre Saw blades (the ones that cut steel et al) will fit other mitre saws?

It occurs to me that the ability to cut a variety of materials must have more to do with the blade - I have a perfectly good mitre saw already, so it seems a waste to replace it with a whole new Evolution jobby if I can get the same result by simply swapping blades.

If your current mitre saw is a woodworking jobbie then regardless of whether blades will physically fit the speed will be wrong (far too fast). Metal cutting TCT blades typically run around 1200 - 1400rpm MAX depending on blade size. Same problem if trying to use a TCT blade on an abrasive saw
